Econet.hu receives state grant

A consortium led by econet.hu Rt has received a Ft 317.9 million state grant through the Jedlik Ányos Program, from the Research and Technology Innovation Fund, which is managed by the National Office for Research and Technology, Napi Gazdaság reported citing unnamed sources. The money will enable the business associations to put econet.hu's so-called grid technology into practice, thus helping the work of another member of the consortium, the National Meteorological Service (OMSZ). Econet.hu is entitled to Ft 100 million out of the more than 300 million state-grant. Besides econet.hu and OMSZ, MTA SZTAKI, Glia Kft, DDC Kft, and the Env-in-Cent Environmental Consulting Agency were part of the consortium.
