Ecolnet plans Ft 20 billion investment

Ecolnet-WTP Rt will build a Ft 20 billion household waste management plant near Gyöngyös, northeastern Hungary, business daily Világgazdaság reported. The company plans to start the investment in the summer of 2005. The plant will have a capacity to process thousands of tons of garbage per year. The Hungarian subsidiary of Zurich-based Ecolnet AG will realize the project in cooperation with Swiss financial investors and use a technology developed by another Swiss company, Thermoselect SA. The same environmentally safe technology has been used successfully in Japan and Germany as well.
