The rise affect some 4000 drugs. The producer price of drugs stay unchanged. The non-subsidised and OTC drugs prices rose 4,5% in January. The cheaper and subsidised drugs also rose Ft 45-75 in January, keeping with an agreement reached by government and drug makers in June, 2004. In that agreement the government guaranteed that it would increase the drugs subsidy fund by 5pc both in 2005 and 2006.
