Budapest City Court adjourned the first hearing to Nov 24 yesterday in all five cases instigated by The National Federation of Disabled Persons' Associations (MEOSz) against public institutions. All public buildings should have been made wheelchair accessible by Jan 1st of this year, but many of them are still inaccessible to disabled people. Although these hearings were postponed, the Federation acheived its aim, which was to draw attention to this topic, chairman Lajos Hegedus said. That is why they did not even claim compensation, he explained. (MH 4, Nv 12) G.R.
