Having become operational as of July 1, DaimlerChrysler Automotive Hungária Kft (DCAH) expects to sell 3,300-3,500 new cars and utility vehicles by the end of the year, business daily Napi Gazdaság reported. DCAH was set up as a joint-stock company by DaimlerChrysler AG and MB-Automobilvertriebs GmbH (which is part of the Austrian Pappas Group), so the import/wholesale and distribution of DaimlerChrysler brands is handled by two different corporate entities. Thus MB-Auto Hungary Kft, which has handled all of these activities until now, will remain in charge of distribution, while DCAH will act as importer and wholesaler of new Mercedes, Smart, Chrysler and Jeep cars, trucks and vehicle parts.
