Csányi, Rothschild buy stakes in Trigránit

Atticus Capital LLC's Nathaniel Rothschild and OTP Bank Rt CEO Sándor Csányi each bought 25% stakes in Budapest-based property developer Trigránit Rt, Trigránit said in a statement. Rothschild, the son of British financier Lord Jacob Rothschild, and Csányi bought their stakes from American International Group Inc. and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the statement said. They join Trizec Properties Inc. Chairman Peter Munk and Hungarian real estate tycoon Sándor Demján as Trigránit's shareholders. Trigránit has properties in Hungary and Slovakia and is considering expansion into other countries in the region.
