Consumer confidence up

The economic research company GfK Hungária Kft's quarterly consumer confidence index (CCI) has reached 191.0 in September, the highest mark in three years, Napi Gazdaság reported. The sub-index which measures Hungarians' willingness to make purchases rose to 198.0 from 171.3 in June. Less people predicts an increase in the number of unemployed, and 12% less people braces for another wave of price increase for the upcoming 12 months. 16% of those surveyed added that they planed to apply for loan to make a bigger purchase during the autumn.
