Competition watchdog approves Biopon sale

The Competition Office (GVH) approved Henkel Hungary Kft?s acquisition of the Biopon detergent brand from Unilever Hungary Kft. together with the related technology, know-how, registered trademarks, standing orders and marketing materials, news portal Index.hu reported. As a result, Henkel?s market share is expected to rise from the current 30% to over 40%, and the company will probably take over as market leader from Procter & Gamble Hungary Kkt. Henkel said it would move production from Romania to Hungary.
