Ferihegy Airport operator Budapest Airport Rt. has appealed a decision by the Budapest Labor Court annulling its privatization tender, Márton Vági, head of the State Privatization and holding Rt. (ÁPV) announced on Wednesday. Vági said the court had overstepped its authority. The Budapest Labor Court annulled the ongoing tender for a 75% stake in the airport operator on August 29, in a case brought to the court by workers at Ferihegy Airport. The ÁPV will prepare to invite a new tender for Budapest Airport if a court decision to that effect is taken, Vági said.
