British Vita Plc has purchased a seven-acre area in the industrial park to build a Ft 2.2 bln, 8000-sqm factory, Napi Gazdaság reports. The construction signals the first phase of a Ft 8 bln investment project in Paks, which will even include a logistical center. The new facility will be ready by the end of the year and will employ 50 workers from next year. The plant will primarily produce stock material for plastic-based furniture. The move is part of British Vita's strategy to concentrate production in their two new factories in Central Europe and to make new investments in Hungary and Slovakia.
