British suitor for Budapest Airport

British BAA Plc announced to submit a bid in the privatization tender of Budapest Airport Rt. The tender is not yet approved by the State Privatization and Holding Rt. (ÁPV). Airport operator BAA is the owner of Heathrow, Gatwick and 5 other UK airports. The company has management contract or shares in 10 other major international airports as well. BAA owns 65% of Naples? airport as well, where they produce ₤31 million income besides 35% growth rate. BAA sees a great potential in the co-operation of the company and Ferihegy, and can rely on its stable financial background in order to utilize its professional knowledge in Hungary, Mike Clasper CEO of the company said. The winner of the tender will own 75 minus 1% of the Budapest Airport shares.
