Bp Airport appeals Labor Court decision

Budapest Airport Rt has appealed a decision by the Budapest Labor Court invalidating its privatization tender, a privatization official said yesterday. Marton Vagi, head of Hungary's privatization agency ÁPV, said the appeal was lodged on Tuesday and he expected a decision to be taken within the next two to three weeks. After airport workers filed a complaint that they had not been consulted on the privatization, a labor court declared the tender invalid. Vagi insisted, however, that the airport's employees had been consulted on numerous occasions. (Econews; NG 4)
