Bosch opens development center in Budapest

Robert Bosch GmbH opened a development center in Budapest, Világgazdaság reported, citing the managing director of the company's local unit. Bosch, the world's second largest auto-parts maker, plans to double the 120 employees currently working at the site in three years, the business daily reported, citing Gerhard K. Rosin, managing director. Bosch, which set up its first development center in Hungary in 1999, will have spent 150 million euros between 2003 and 2006 to expand Hungarian operations, Rosin added.
