A consortium of Betonút Rt, Strabag Rt and Mota-Engil SA has won a contract to build the third and fourth section of a new bypass around Orosháza, south-east Hungary. The consortium will construct the 7.2 km stretch for Ft 5.2 billion. The Road Management and Coordination Board (UKIG), the organizer of the tender, picked the winner in a second tender, following one-on-one negotiations with bidders after a previous open bidding fell through because the UKIG found the offers to be too high.
