Betonút, Strabag, Mota-Engil win road tender

A consortium of Betonút Rt, Strabag Rt and Mota-Engil SA has won a contract to build the third and fourth section of a new bypass around Orosháza, southeast Hungary. The consortium will construct the 7.2 km stretch for Ft 5.2 billion. The Road Management and Coordination Board (UKIG), the organizer of the tender, picked the winner in one-on-one negotiations with bidders after a previous open bidding fell through because the UKIG found the offers to be too high.
