Alföldi Tej Selling and Purchasing Kft, a group of suppliers to Parmalat Hungária Rt, which acquired the troubled former unit of Italian dairy giant Parmalat last week, decided to invest Ft 700 million into a new frozen and dry warehouse in Székesfehérvár, adjacent to the production facilities. Currently, the Italian-owned Catone Kft provides warehousing for most of Parmalat's products at its Budaörs facility. With the new warehouse in Székesfehérvár, Parmalat hopes to curb costs considerably. The new investment will also result in a hiring of at least 25-30 workers. (NG 1) P.O.
