Airlines switch to Ferihegy 2A

The air traffic of Ferihegy International Airport will change as of June 20, with 14 international airlines switching their departing flights from terminal 2B to 2A, including check-in, passport control, passenger safety and baggage check as well. Only departures will change, arriving flights will remain at Ferihegy 2B. The airlines affected by the change include CSA, LOT, Alitalia, Montenegro Airlines, TAP Portugal Airlines, Moldavian Airlines, Tarom, Air Europa, Air Malta, Carpatair, Egyptair, Air Finland, Nouvelair Tunisia and Hola Airlines. Malév flights are not subject to change. ?The new flight schedule was necessary for more efficient handling of the summer peak traffic,? Deputy CEO of Budapest Airport Rt Gábor Somogyi-Tóth said. ?The change will allow faster, more convenient and more comfortable access to airplanes,? he added.
