State Privatization and Holding Company Rt (ÁPV) is expected to approve the agreement between Ferihegy Airport operator Budapest Airport Rt and national carrier Malév Rt today, which has delayed the sale of both companies, daily Magyar Hírlap reported. The agreement will detail the conditions for using the airport by the national carrier, and it will settle a Ft 3 billion debt by Malév, dating back to the 1990's. The government is selling 99.9% of Malév in its sixth attempt to trade the carrier since 1989. Hungary also wants to sell 75% of Budapest Airport this year, for which it hopes to get at least Ft 100 billion.
