Adoc Interprint completes Ft 500 mln expansion

Printing company Adoc Interprint Kft has completed a capacity expansion worth more than Ft 500 million, the company announced on Friday. With the expansion, Adoc Interprint will be able to turn out 55,000 64-page color magazines an hour. Adoc Interprint's plant was built at a greenfield site in 2000 with an initial investment of Ft 1 billion. The plant prints Metro, a free newspaper with a daily circulation of 340,000-380,000, the national daily Magyar Hirlap, and magazines for Sanoma Budapest Kft, Hungary's biggest magazine publisher. Last year Adoc Interprint had revenue of more than Ft 2 billion, and pre-tax profits exceeding Ft 80 million.
