K&H Bank has announced the winner in its tender to revamp the design of its credit cards, with university student Dóra Magyarosiʼs work triumphing from among a total of 79 entries, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.

One concept of the design-winning series

The bank determined the winning concept via both internal and external market research. The winning design features geometrical shapes and colors in line with K&Hʼs general design and theme, while also aiming at projecting innovativeness and flow. Magyarosi wins HUF 500,000, and her designs are expected to reach hundreds of thousands of clients.

"During the market research, it was clearly apparent that clients would be glad to use the credit cards with the winning concept," said Nóra Horváth Magyary, head of communications at the bank.  "The images on the cards were described as those of a dynamic, energetic, youthful bank by thousands of respondents."

The winning designer said that the main feature of her concept is a youthful dynamic, reflected by the waves that dominate the graphic appearance. The cards feature blue and orange colors, with circles also present in the design, suggesting perfection and precision.
