Czech real wages rise in Q4
The average real monthly wages in the Czech Republic rose by 3.8% year-on-year in the fourth quarter 2020, following an upwardly revised 1.8% increase in the previous period, data released by the Czech Statistical Office (CZSO) showed on Monday.
It was the strongest increase in average real monthly wages since the first quarter of 2019, as nominal wages went up by 6.5% to CZK 38,525 (EUR 1,459) and inflation was at 2.6%.
The median wage was CZK 32,870 (EUR 1,244.80).
For men, the median reached CZK 35,129, while for women it was CZK 30,281.
