Hungaryʼs gas reserves reach 3.2 bln cubic meters

Hungaryʼs gas storage facilities currently contain 3.2 billion cubic meters of gas, well over the projected household demand, and more than half of the nationwide requirement for winter, state secretary for energy András Aradszki said today, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

The state secretary said that Hungarian households are likely to consume 2.4 billion cubic meters of gas during the upcoming winter MTI reported, adding that approximately 6 billion of the total 8 billion cubic meters of gas consumed in Hungary each year is used during the winter season.
