Emfesz launches retail gas sales
Emfesz, the biggest player on Hungary's deregulated gas market, started sales on the retail market on June.
Hungary's retail gas market was deregulated from July 2007, but Emfesz is the first company to enter the market.
Emfesz sells 3 billion cubic meters of gas a year, or one-fifth of total consumption in Hungary. It controls about 70% of the deregulated gas market, supplying some 200 big industrial customers. The company had revenue of Ft 190 billion in 2007. (MTI – Econews)
