Photon Energy connects 8 new solar plants to network
Photon Energy has announced the connection of eight new solar power plants to the E.ON Észak-dunántúli Áramhálózati Zrt. grid, with a total capacity of 5.5 MWp, according to a press release sent to the Budapest Business Journal.
The eight new solar plants in Almásfüzítő (64 km northwest of Budapest) elevate the total performance of Photon Energyʼs self-owned portfolio to 37.1 MWp (11.5 MWp in Hungary alone). The predicted annual income of the eight plants is EUR 680,000 per year. The plants, located on a 6.96-hectare site, are forecast to produce 6.8 GWh of electricity per year.
"The fact that we have connected plants with a total performance of 11.5 MWp to the network is a significant result for Photon Energy as a developer, builder, and investor as well," said Photon Energy CEO Georg Hotar. "We are glad that our business model proved fruitful, and we are waiting to get a step closer to our aim of building 50 MWp of self-owned solar plants by 2020."
Photon Energy will operate the plants through its 100% self-owned subsidiary Ráció Master Kft.
