Workplace accidents down 2.5% in Hungary in H1

The number of workplace accidents that occurred in Hungary saw a year-on-year decrease of 2.5% to 8,057 in the first half of the year, with 23 fatalities in total, a report by the labor oversight department of Hungary’s National Economy Ministry revealed this morning, according to Hungarian news agency MTI.

Almost three-quarters of the workplace accidents reported happened at companies employing fewer than 250 workers, MTI noted.
