Ukraine industrial prices up in April

The State Statistics Service said that industrial prices in Ukraine were up by 2.5% in April, and in general since the beginning of the year the growth was 3.4%. According to the service, this increase was mainly caused by the rise in the prices of metal ores by 19.2% and electricity by 9.3%. The Kiev-based agency noted that in April last year the rise in prices reached 3.7%, therefore in annual terms wholesale prices were down by 1%.
