TI gives MFB a perfect score for compliance with disclosure rules

Transparency International (TI) gave the Hungarian Development Bank a perfect score of 100 points in a gauge of compliance with disclosure rules based on information posted on its website, Transparency International reported today.

TI reviewed the websites of 66 state-owned companies to determine whether the sites contained information the companies are legally bound to disclose.

Among the high scorers were railway company MAV with 88 points, postal company Magyar Posta with 90 points, student loan provider Diakhitel with 94 points and lottery company Szerencsejáték with 94 points.

Lower scorers included National Infrastructure Development Company (NIF), with just under 42 points, horse-betting company Magyar Lóversenyfogadást Szervező with 20 points and the Mezőhegyes stud farm with 14 points.
