Tender opens for broadband mobile frequencies
Hungaryʼs National Media and Infocommunications Authority (NMHH) opened a tender by publishing documentation for licenses for broadband mobile frequencies with a submission deadline of May 2, according to reports.
The licenses will be available until 2034, Hungarian news agency MTI reported. Fifteen-year licenses for the frequencies in the lower half of the band expire at the end of June and the NMHH noted demand for unused frequencies in the top half of the band, MTI added. The frequencies may be used for broadband mobile data services, the authority reportedly said.
The frequency the tenders being called are for the 3,400-3,800 MHz band.
