Szijjártó: Hungarian-Bulgarian joint economic committee to be established
Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó and Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borissov agreed at a meeting in Sofia today to set up a Hungarian-Bulgarian joint economic committee, Hungarian news agency MTI reported.
The parties agreed on establishing the joint committee after Hungarian companies began showing increasing interest in the Bulgarian market. OTP, Richter and Videoton are already present in the country and they wish to expand further, said Szijjártó.
The minister expressed his hope that a direct flight between Budapest and Sofia would be reopened from the start of 2017.
