Sziget Draws 10 mln Festival-Goers Over 30 years

Sziget, Hungary's biggest music festival, welcomed its 10,000,000th visitor on Friday, according to a report by state news wire MTI.

Tamás Kádár, the chief organizer of Sziget, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, welcomed Veronika Mikes at the entrance to the festival grounds on an island in the Danube.

Mikes, who revealed that she lives in Budapest and works at the National Bank of Hungary (MNB), said she came to Sziget to see headliner Imagine Dragons.

Among the other big acts at this year's Sziget are Billie Eilish, making her debut in Hungary, Florence + the Machine, David Guetta, Mumford and Sons, and Macklemore.
