Slovenia's average net wage up in October

The average net monthly earnings in Slovenia increased by a real 0.7% month-on-month to EUR 1,181.35 in October, after shrinking by 0.3% in September, provisional data from the Statistics Bureau of Slovenia (SURS) showed.
In annual terms, the average net earnings in the country rose by a nominal 5.3% in October, following a 5.8% increase a month earlier, the office said, without providing annual comparison in real terms. In nominal terms, the average net wage increased 1.0% on the month in October, after dropping by a monthly 0.7% in September.
The average gross monthly salary in Slovenia rose to EUR 1,821.44 in October, up by a nominal 1.9% and by a real 0.9% compared to the previous month.
