Slovenia Producer Price Inflation Slows in February

Slovenia's industrial producer prices rose by 14.9% on the year in February, after increasing by 18.2% in the previous month, the Ljubljana-based Slovenian Bureau of Statistics (SUSR) said on Wednesday.

Producer prices for utilities rose the most, by 58.1% annually in February, cost of mining advanced 20.4%, producer prices of manufacturing increased by 12.9% and prices of water supply added 8.5%.

On a monthly comparison basis, the producer price index (PPI) edged up 1.5% in February. Industrial producer prices on the domestic market increased by 18.6% year-on-year and went up 2.6% month-on-month in February.

On the non-domestic market, industrial producer prices grew by 11.2% on the year and increased by 0.4% on the month.
