Slovenia jobless rate rises in November

Slovenia's unemployment rate rose to 8.6% in November from 7.4% in the same month of the previous year, figures from the Statistics Bureau of Slovenia (SURS) show.
The number of unemployed increased by 11,744 to 84,139 while employed went down by 11,970 to 889,758, according to data. In October, the jobless rate was also at 8.6%.
In a separate statement, the Ljubljana-based statistics office said that Slovenia's output prices fell 0.2% year-on-year in December. Domestic market output prices grew 1.0%, while those for the export market fell 1.4%.
