Slovenia jobless rate falls in January

Slovenia's unemployment rate was at 6.9% in January, down from 9.4% in the same month of the previous year, economic portal Trading Economics reported citing data from the country's Employment Service.

In December, the jobless rate was at 6.7%.

The number of unemployed individuals in January 2021 decreased by 23,600 compared to that of the previous year to 67,800, the lowest since December of 2008. At the same time, employment rose by 27,700 to 909,500.
