It was the lowest inflation rate since December 2021, as prices slowed down in most of the sub-indices, namely; food & non-alcoholic beverages (6.2% vs 7.3% in October), transport (0.7% vs 3.1%), clothing & footwear (1.6% vs 2.7%), housing & utilities (2.9% vs 10%), household furnishings & current maintenance of dwellings (4.9% vs 5%), communications (3.7% vs 4%), recreation & culture (6.7% vs 7.1%), restaurants & hotels (8.4% vs 9.1%), miscellaneous goods & services (6.5% vs 6.9%), and health (6.4% vs 11.4%).
Meanwhile, prices increased at a faster pace for alcoholic beverages & tobacco (10% vs 8.6%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices tumbled 1% in November from 0.2% rise in the previous month.
