Slovenia annual inflation rate rises further in October

Slovenia's consumer prices advanced by 3% year-on-year in October, following a 2.4% rise in September, data released by the Ljubljana-based Statistics Bureau (SURS) showed on Friday.
It was the highest inflation since November of 2008 as prices rebounded for food & non-alcoholic beverages (0.3%). Also, consumer prices increased for transport (11.7%), housing & utilities (6.7%), and restaurants & hotels (5.2%).
On a monthly comparison basis, prices edged up 0.9% in October, after decreased 0.1% in the previous month.
