The increase of prices slowed for food & non-alcoholic beverages (16.5% vs 18.9% in June), and housing & utilities (8.4% vs 9.7%).
Also, inflation lowered for furnishings, household equipment & maintenance (10.2% vs 11.3%), recreation & culture (4.7% vs 8.7%), and health (10% vs 10.5%).
In addition, costs continued to drop for transport (-3.9% vs -5.1%), weighed by reduced fuel prices.
On a monthly basis, the consumer price index (CPI) fell 0.3%, following a 0.2% rise in June.
