Serbia's real net wage up in February
Serbia's average net wage rose by a real 4.2% year-on-year in February, following a 3.9% annual increase a month before, the Belgrade-based Central Statistical Office (SORS) said on Tuesday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the average net wage went down by 1.5% in real terms in February, after declining 5.8% in January.
In nominal terms, the average net wage totaled RSD 70,605 (EUR 600) in February, while the average gross wage was RSD 97,392.
The median net wage in February was RSD 53,590 (EUR 456), meaning that 50% of the employed population received wages up to that amount.
