Serbia's real net wage up in December

Serbia's average net wage increased by a real 9.2% year-on-year in December, following a 6.4% annual rise in November, the country's Central Statistical Office (SORS) said.
Average gross salaries and wages calculated for December amounted to RSD 90,849 (EUR 773.80), while average net salaries and wages amounted to RSD 66,092 (EUR 563).
On a monthly comparison basis, the average net wage went up 8.4% in real terms in December, after rising by 1.6% in November, the Belgrade-based agency said. Median net salaries and wages for December amounted to RSD 48,676 (EUR 414.4), meaning that 50% of employees realized wages and salaries up to the mentioned amount.
