Serbia's industrial output rises in April

Serbia's industrial production increased by 33.9% year-on-year in April, after growing by 6.1% in March, data released by the Belgrade-based Statistical Office (SORS) show.

Manufacturing jumped by 42% annually in April from 6.5% gain in the prior month, while utilities added 17.6% against a 5% growth in March.

On the other hand, utilities advanced a slower pace by 3% (vs. 5.7%).

On a seasonally-adjusted monthly comparison basis, the industrial output went up 7.6% in April after rising 6% a month earlier.
