Serbia's avg net wage up in 2021

Serbia's average monthly net wage increased by a real 5.4% in 2021, following a 7.7% rise in the previous year, the Belgrade-based Central Statistical Office (SORS) said on Friday.

In nominal terms, the average net wage totaled RSD 65,864 (EUR 560) in 2021.

In December alone, the average net wage grew by a real 4.6% year-on-year to a nominal RSD 74,629 (EUR 634), following a 5.6% annual rise a month before.

On a monthly comparison basis, the average net wage went up by 7.5% in real terms in December, after rising 3.8% in November.
