Serbia's average net wage up in November

Serbia's average net monthly wage rose to RSD 60,926 (EUR 518) in November 2020, 8.2% in nominal terms and 6.4% in real terms compared to the same month in 2019, figures from the Serbian Statistical Office (SORS) showed on Monday.

In November, the average gross wage amounted to RSD 84,201, growing 8.1% in nominal terms and 6.3% in real terms year-on-year.

In the period from January to November 2020, annual gross wages rose 9.4% in nominal terms and 7.7% in real terms, while net wages grew 9.3% in nominal terms and 7.6% in real terms, data showed. The median net wage in November was RSD 46,861 (EUR 424), meaning that 50% of the employed population received wages up to that amount, the Belgrade-based statistics agency said.
