Serbia Real Net Wage Falls in April

Serbia's average net wage fell by a real 0.3% year-on-year in April, following a 1.5% annual decline in March, the Belgrade-based Serbian Statistical Office (RBS) said in a statement on Monday.

On a monthly comparison basis, the average net wage went down by 2.7% in real terms in April, after increasing by 4.2% in March.

In nominal terms, the average net wage totaled RSD 83,812 (EUR 715) in April.

Meanwhile, the average gross wage was RSD 115,631 (EUR 986) and the median net wages amounted to RSD 63,954 (EUR 545).
