The biggest price increases in annual terms were observed in the sector of food and non-alcoholic beverages, by 20.4% followed by housing, water and energy, 19.6%, and restaurant and hotel services, 19.5%.

Prices also rose for alcoholic beverages, tobacco & narcotics by 8.5%, for clothing & footwear by 9.4%, for health by 8%, and for miscellaneous goods & services by 12.7%.

Meanwhile, transport costs fell by 4.9%.

On a monthly comparison basis, consumer price index (CPI) went down by 0.1% in July, after rising by 0.7% in June.
