Romania's real net wage falls on year in November

Romania's average net monthly wage fell by a real 0.8% year-on-year in November, after decreasing by 1.8% in October, the Bucharest-based National Institute of Statistics (INS) said in a report on Thursday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the real net wage was 2.8% higher in November.
In nominal terms, the average net monthly wage rose 6.9% on the year and was 2.8% higher on the month in November, to RON 3,645 (EUR 737).
In November, the highest net average wage of RON 9,055 (EUR 1,831) was registered in computer programming, consultancy and related activities, while the lowest, of RON 1,875 (EUR 379), was recorded in the hospitality sector.
