Revenue of Fixed-line ISPs Climbs 7% in Q3

Revenue of fixed-line ISPs rose 21% year-on-year to HUF 49.6 billion in the third quarter, data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) show.

Cable TV and optical networks each accounted for 43% of the total. Sales of xDSL networks made up 9%.

Downloaded data volume using fixed internet service increased 18% to 1,750 Petabytes during the period. Upload volume rose 4% to 335 Petabytes.
