Retail sales inch up 0.4% in August
Retail sales in Hungary inched up 0.4% in August from the same month a year earlier, according to data adjusted for calendar effects, the Central Statistics Office (KSH) said on Friday.
The year-on-year rise followed a 1.3% fall in July.
Retail sales volume also rose 0.4% on the month in August after monthly drops in July and June.
January-August retail sales were down 0.2% from a year earlier.
