The average producer price of raw milk per kilogram was HUF 112.65 in September this year, the Institute of Agricultural Economics (AKI) said in its latest market report, according to business daily Világgazdaság.
The annual increase in the national purchase of raw milk was 2% in January, 7% in May, and 10% in September, according to the AKI data.
The price increase is already visible in both transfer and consumer prices, but to a lesser extent as the product line progresses.
With a 0.09 percentage point improvement in protein and 0.17 percentage points in fat and a 1% increase in the base price, the average price of raw milk rose 3% last month compared to August, 10% higher than the average for the same month last year.
