Raw Milk Prices Rising

The national average producer price of raw milk was HUF 171.05 per kilogram in July 2022, according to Agrokép.
The average price of raw milk increased by 7% in July 2022 compared to June 2022 and exceeded the average price of the same month of the previous year by 57%, according to the Agrárközgazdasági Institute (AKI).
At the same time, the protein content deteriorated by 0.04 percentage points and the fat content by 0.03 percentage points.
The export price of raw milk was HUF 198.29/kg in July 2022, an increase of 8% compared to the previous month and 72% compared to the same month of the last year.
The export price was 16% higher than the domestic price.
