Polish Food Exports up in Jan-Apr

Figures

Poland experienced a significant increase in the export of agricultural and food products during the period of January to April, with a growth rate of 18.8% compared to the previous year, reaching EUR 16.8 billion.

Conversely, imports of agricultural and food products also rose by 12% to EUR 10.9 billion.

The National Support Center for Agriculture (KOWR) attributes the higher import value to the rising prices of imported commodities.

As a result, Poland achieved a positive trade balance of EUR 5.9 billion, marking a 33% increase compared to the same period in 2022.
